Welcome!
I am an interdisciplinary social scientist and food systems researcher. I study the social and environmental impacts of novel technologies in food and agriculture, including AI and agri-genomics. My research, writing, and teaching aim to cultivate just and sustainable food systems.

I am a Research Associate at the University of the Fraser Valley’s Food and Agriculture Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University’s School of Resources and Environmental Management.
I completed a Ph.D. in Resources, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of British Columbia in 2023, followed by a 2-year SSHRC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Ottawa in 2025. I also hold an M.E.S. in Social and Ecological Sustainability (University of Waterloo, 2019) and an H.B.Sc. in Environmental Science (Queen’s University, 2017).
I am grateful to live, work, play, and grow food in the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
